---- — Contrary to what some Republicans believe, extremists on the left do not control the agenda of the Democratic party. There is no need to secede or leave America. Guns will not be taken away, land will not be confiscated, the rule of law shall prevail and our Constitution will remain intact.
The irony is that the extremists we should fear rule the agenda of the Republican Party, especially in the House of Representatves. They leave no room for debate on the role of government in citizens' lives, want no rules for business and industry, are inflexible on raising any taxes, and will accept no views but their own in regard to family values.
The Republican Party is in danger of going the way of the Whigs and Know-nothings. Moderates should insist that the Republicans in the House return to the idea that our problems can best be resolved through honest debate and compromise.
