---- — Picture IDs are needed to board an airplane, train or ship, to open a bank account, but not to vote.
We cannot wait until 2015 to push for this much-needed requirement. With this past election, there were over 70,000 reported voting irregularities on Election Day and numerous eyewitnesses that claim they saw voting machines change votes for one candidate to another candidate right in front of their eyes.
Some of the vote totals that were reported in some of the most important swing states were completely and totally absurd and yet we're supposed to accept them on blind faith.
n Romney won 55 out of 67 counties in Pennsylvania and still managed to lose the state by a wide margin.
n Obama got more than 98 percent of the vote in 10 out of 50 wards in Chicago.
n Voters in the states of Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Ohio all reported that voting machines were switching their vote for Romney to Obama.
n There were more than 50 precincts in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, where Romney got two votes or less?
n Wood County, Ohio, has a voting age population of 98,213, but somehow 106,258 voters were registered to vote on Election Day. What's up with that?
n Obama did not win in a single state that absolutely requires a photo ID to vote!
n In Ohio, two election judges were caught allowing unregistered persons to vote.
n According to Townhall.Com, there was a systematic effort by the Democratic campaign to suppress the military vote. In 2009, the so-called "Military Voter Protection Act" was enacted. Because of the red tape involved when trying to get an absentee ballot, there was a 70 percent decrease in absentee military voting from just Virginia and Ohio. Who knows what the nationwide numbers would have totaled? Military men and women being cheated out of their right to vote, a truly terrible thing!
Finally, we all need to push for a picture voter ID law now. Hopefully, it's not too late.
