For the people

At the beginning of the Bush administration, gas was $1.68 a gallon. I remember watching an interview in which Bush was asked about the high gas prices, at $4.00 a gallon, and he replied that there was nothing he could do. Yes, we are in a recession put there by the Republicans, but it is slowly getting better. Intelligent people know it takes more than a decade to get out of a recession like this. To get this great country back on track, we have to have a party that is of the people, by the people, for the people, not against 95 percent of the people.

If you want to see something that says it all, watch Queen of Versailles. If you haven't seen it yet, ask the Campus Theatre to run it again. There is a billionaire that brags about electing Bush with all his money and making millions off the good Clinton economy at the end of the Bush administration, losing it, his buildings in Vegas, and laying off thousands of his people. I would like to ask the man if he thinks he made a good choice.

Robert Thomas,

Milton
