End of a relationship

I was never much of a coffee drinker until I began the challenge of working full time and going to law school at night. I quickly discovered Starbucks and fell in love. What started with a flirtatious attraction centered on the caramel-mocha-frappa-chino-latte-du jour quickly turned to a serious relationship with the dark-roast-extra-shot-extra-bold-go-juice.

This, I was convinced, was love that would last a lifetime. Alas! I was sorely mistaken.

Starbucks has fallen prey to the extremely misguided belief that telling, or asking, people not to lawfully carry weapons into their stores will actually cause the mentally imbalanced or morally bankrupt individuals who commit violent acts with guns to leave their guns at home.

This is absurd. All it will accomplish is to further weaken every American's constitutional rights.

This I cannot abide; and so, today I must end the relationship. I believe exercising our constitutional rights is the best way to secure them for future generations.

It has worked for our Fisrt Amendment rights; it can work for our Second Amendment rights. Live free my fellow Americans so our children may do the same.
