How do we expect our children not to drink when the adult example indicates that alcohol is the way to a good time? I am referring to your recent article, "Festival serves wine, beer."
The first sentence is not what our youth should hear: "Beer and wine enthusiasts better hurry to get their tickets ... because they are going fast." The writing implies that the city and local professionals co-sponsor the event.
Could they not come up with family-oriented ideas?
