The south portico of the Slifer House Museum, Lewisburg, was the setting for the outdoor ceremony uniting Rachel Elizabeth Wert and Anthony John Mattera in marriage. The Rev. Charles Cole, pastor of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, Sunbury, performed the ceremony at 2 p.m. May 30.

Lear and Betty Herman, of Selinsgrove, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party given by Scott and Kathy Herman. The couple were married in Kreamer on Sept. 26, 1959, by the Rev. Fitzgerald.
