— SELINSGROVE — Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Ballantine, of Selinsgrove, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Rachel, to Jesse Lee Pyers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack H. Pyers Jr., of Selinsgrove.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School; a 2004 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a bachelor of science degree in audiology/speech-language pathology; and a 2006 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a master of science degree in speech-language pathology. She is employed by ChristianaCare Health System, Newark, Del., as a speech-language pathologist.
Her fiancé is a 2000 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and a 2004 graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies. He is employed by Waste Management of Delaware as a route manager.
A September wedding is planned.
