NORTHUMBERLAND — The gazebo at King Street Park was the setting for the ceremony uniting Holly Louisa Van Gilder and Jason Daniel Bedisky in marriage. Pastor Dale Biesecker performed the double-ring ceremony on June 21.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Louis and Karen Van Gilder, and her son, Kanen Bucher, all of Northumberland. The matron of honor was her sister, Andrea Watt, of Bristow, Va. The maid of honor was Beth Bedisky, of Danville, sister of the bridegroom, and the flower girl was Marah Watt, of Bristow, Va., niece of the bride.
The bridegroom is the son of Thomas and Sharon Bedisky, of Danville. Serving as best men were Bryan Bedisky, of Cleona, brother of the bridegroom; John Santoro, of Lancaster; and Paul Lukasik, of Long Island, N.Y. The ring bearer was Kanen Bucher, son of the bride.
Music was provided by Eric Rachau, of Sunbury.
A reception was held at the Savoy in Northumberland.
The bride is a graduate of Shikellamy High School and Susquehanna University with a bachelor of arts degree in English. She is employed by Keystone Insurers Group Inc., Northumberland, as a profitability analyst.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Danville Area High School and Albright College with a bachelor of science degree in criminology. He is a staff sergeant with the 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y., as an intelligence collector.
The couple plan to honeymoon upon the bridegroom’s return from deployment to Afghanistan. They reside in Northumberland.
