SELINSGROVE — St. Paul’s United Church of Christ was the setting for the ceremony uniting Megan Bailey Shoemaker and Gregory Steven Buck in marriage. The Rev. Dietmar Plajer performed the wedding vows at 2 p.m. on June 20.
The bride is the daughter of Gary L. and Wanda J. Shoemaker, of Cleona. The bridegroom is the son of Barry S. and Candace I. Buck, of Watsontown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her cousin, Tara Robinson, of Birmingham, Ala., to be her maid of honor. Her niece, Paige Shoemaker, of Elizabethtown, was the flower girl.
Kevin Young, of Stroudsburg, was best man. Ring bearers were Logan Buck, of McEwensville, and Seth Shoemaker, of Elizabethtown, nephews of the bridal couple.
A reception for 70 guests was held at the Country Cupboard, Lewisburg.
Following a two-week trip to Disney World, the couple are residing in Annville.
The bride is a graduate of Annville-Cleona High School and Penn State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and elementary education, as well as her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. She is a first-grade teacher in the Annville-Cleona School District.
The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Warrior Run High School. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1994 with an associate’s degree in landscape/nursery management. He graduated in 1998 from Northampton Area Community College with a degree in funeral service education. He is a licensed funeral director with Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. Annville, and is deputy coroner for Lebanon County.
