MOUNT PLEASANT MILLS-- Lester and Marguerite Moyer, of Mount Pleasant Mills, will observe their 66th wedding anniversary May 6.

The couple were married May 6, 1942, in Richfield, by David Garman, justice of the peace.

Mrs. Moyer is the daughter of the late Quilla and Joseph Hoffman. She is a housewife.

Mr. Moyer is the son of the late Stella and Kohler Moyer. He was a farmer and butcher until 1970. He then began working at Wood-Mode, retiring in 1985.

The couple have two children, Richard and his wife Daria, of Florida, and Mary and her husband Elmer Reichenbach, of Selinsgrove; four grandchildren, Ed, Tom, Michele, and Jeff; and nine great-grandchildren.
