WINFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Raymond “Jim” Hile, of Winfield, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party given by their son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Jayme Hile, also of Winfield. Festivities for 125 guests were held at the Engine House in Shamokin Dam.

The couple were married March 28, 1959, at Zion Lutheran Church, Kratzerville, by the Rev. Vernon B. Yeich.

Mrs. Hile is the former Judith Beaver, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Beaver Sr. She is retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Hummels Wharf.

Mr. Hile is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hile Sr. He is retired from Yorktowne Cabinets, Mifflinburg.

The couple are the grandparents of two grandsons, Logan and Brandon.
