Published July 10, 2008 11:30 am - Mr. and Mrs. Lee Knause, of Selinsgrove, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 22 with a surprise party for 135 relatives and friends, at the Reliance Hose Company. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Knause SELINSGROVE -- Mr. and Mrs. Lee Knause, of Selinsgrove, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 22 with a surprise party for 135 relatives and friends, at the Reliance Hose Company.
The couple were married June 8, 1958, at Zion Reformed Church in Kratzerville. Mrs. Knause is the former Faye Lou Kratzer. She was a homemaker and sold produce at the Lewisburg and Sunbury Farmer's Markets. Mr. Knause is a retired farmer and rural mail carrier for the Selinsgrove area. Their immediate family includes their son, Allen Knause, of Selinsgrove, and his girlfriend, Darlene Graybill, of Richfield; their daughter, Brenda, and her husband, Harry W. Ross Jr., of Selinsgrove ; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Janelle Ross, of Selinsgrove.
