WINFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Reich, of Winfield, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 21 with an open house and meal hosted by their four daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The party was attended by approximately 200 friends and family.

The couple were married June 21, 1958, by the Rev. Spencer at Hummels Church.

Mrs. Reich, the former Jeanette Gemberling, is the daughter of the late Ernest and Phoebe Gemberling, of Selinsgrove. She is a full-time homemaker, serves as organist at Hummels United Methodist Church, and is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Gideons.

Mr. Reich is the son of the late Marvin and Catherine Reich, of Winfield. He owns and operates the family farm, sells Pioneer Seed Corn, is a member of the Gideons, and is chairman of the board at Hummels United Methodist Church.

The couple have four daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Brian Shirk, of Winfield; Brenda and Bruce Craven, of Winfield; Kathy and Robert Waite Jr., of Middleburg; and Debra and Scott Nace, of Richfield. They also have 12 grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

They enjoyed a special trip to Florida to celebrate their anniversary.
