SUNBURY -- Mr. and Mrs. Jack Moyer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 3, with a party hosted by their daughter, Deb Bright, at Golden Living Center -- Mansion in Sunbury, where Mr. Moyer is a resident.

The couple were married Aug. 3, 1958, in Mifflinburg, by the Rev. Weirick.

Mrs. Moyer, the former Sandra Hoey, is the daughter of the late Mildred (Shuller) and George M. Hoey, of Milton. She is a retired housekeeper and laborer.

Mr. Moyer is the son of the late Enetha Gearhart and Walter Moyer, of Lewisburg. He retired from AMP Corporation.

The couple have one daughter, Deb Bright and her husband Mark, of Klingerstown; two grandchildren, Wayne Bright, of Danville, and Jesse Bright, of Klingerstown; and one great-granddaughter, Rehana Bright, of Klingerstown.
