LIVERPOOL -- "Enjoy the dance" was the theme for the 60th wedding anniversary of Rae and Charles "Tot" Adams, of Liverpool. A family dinner was hosted by their children on Aug. 9 at Townside Cafe, Northumberland.
The couple were married Aug. 22, 1948, at First Reformed Church (UCC), Sunbury.
They have three children, Cynthia Tressler, of Sunbury; Jeffrey, of Greensboro, N.C.; and Charles "Rob," of Selinsgrove. They also have six grandsons, William Tressler II, of Wilmington, Del., Kevin Tressler, of Sunbury, and Jason, Dennis, Matthew and Joseph, of Greensboro; and two great-granddaughters, Tina Adams, of Elysburg, and Angela Banyas, of Berwick.
Slides of family activities were shown by Bill Tressler Sr., and narrated by grandson Bill Tressler. Slow dancing, pictures and socializing were enjoyed by all.
Rae is a retired nursing home administrator, and Tot retired from AMP, Harrisburg.
