WATSONTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Harold McCollin, of Watsontown, observed their 59th wedding anniversary on Sept. 10.

The couple were married by the Rev. Eugene Keller at First Lutheran Church, Watsontown.

Mrs. McCollin, the former Jean Savidge, is a native of Watsontown. She graduated from Watsontown High School and Nursing School at the Williamsport Hospital. She worked as a registered nurse at Dr. Clark Zimmerman's office in Lewisburg.

Mr. McCollin, also a native of Watsontown, graduated from Watsontown High School and worked as a purchasing agent for 40 years at Philco Ford/Zenith, in Watsontown. He is an Air Force veteran of World War II.

The couple are both residents of Kramm Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Watsontown, where an anniversary celebration was held Sept. 23.

They are the parents of two sons, William, of Watsontown, and Edward, of Appleton, Wis.
