DORNSIFE — Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bradigan, of Dornsife, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15 with a party at Wolf’s Crossroad picnic pavilion, Sunbury. The event, for 112 guests, was hosted by their sons. Dave and Alice Dyer, of Paxinos, sister and brother-in-law of Mrs. Bradigan, assisted in the preparation and planning of the party. They were married June 7, 1963, in Millers Crossroads Church, by the Rev. Turner.
Mrs. Bradigan, the former Carol Lawrence, is the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Lawrence. She was employed by Champ Hats.
Her husband is the son of the late Howard and Martha Bradigan. He was employed by Tri-Star Builders.
The couple is active with the southern gospel group “His Servants” where Carol plays the keyboard and Bob runs the sound.
They are the parents of two sons, Timothy, of Trevorton, and Thomas, of Sunbury. There are also six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
