SELINSGROVE — Bill and Nancy Bingaman, of Selinsgrove, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently.
They were married May 13, 1953, in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Berlin, by the Rev. John J. Weikel.
Mrs. Bingaman is the daughter of the late Ammon and Nellie Maurer. She retired after 45 years as an Avon representative.
Her husband is the son of the late William W. and Margaret Bingaman. He worked for the Pennsylvania/Penn Central/Conrail railroad, and retired after 36 years as a brakeman.
They are the parents of one daughter, Kim and husband Ed Zerbe; and one son, Tim and wife Debbie Bingaman. There are also six grandchildren, Libbie and Dave Greenacre, Evan Zerbe, Lila and Brian Backenstose, Lori and Matt Alturo, Lisa and Matt Cole, and Kris Sledge; and 13 great-grandchildren, Kirstie Lippincott, Giuseppina Balsamo, Sophia Zerbe, Ben, Esther Jane and Zoe Backenstose, Gabriella and Gavin Alturo, and David, Ruby, Isabelle, Luna and Abigail Cole.
