MIFFLINBURG —Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bingaman Sr., of Mifflinburg, celebrated their 60th anniversary on Sept. 25, 2013, with a vow renewal ceremony performed by Hall Solomon. A party, hosted by their children and grandchildren, was held at the Laurelton Community Center, with 50 guests in attendance.
They were married Sept. 25, 1953, by the justice of the peace.
Mrs. Bingaman, the former Mirriam Grubb, is the daughter of the late Lester and Pauline (Loss) Grubb. She is employed by Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Her husband is the son of the late Stewart and Louella (Bowersox) Bingaman. He retired form Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg.
They are the parents of four children, Kathryn and Richard Miller and David Bingaman and Kim Ruhl, of Mifflinburg, Debra and Butch Ettinger, of Lewisburg, and Donald Bingaman Jr., of Glen Iron. There are five grandchildren, Angela Fetterolf and John McAllister, of Lewisburg, Linda and Tim Kerstetter and Susan and Brian Guffey, of Mifflinburg, Scott Fetterolf, of Mifflinburg, Steff Beachel, of Milton, and Tracy and Robert Woolsey, of Sunbury; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan and Whitney Lloyd, of Millheim, Courtney and Kyle Adams, of Lewisburg, Derrick and Clint Marks and Cory Kerstetter, of Mifflinburg, and Elizabeth and Dakota Harvey, of Lewisburg; and two great-great-grandchildren, Mason and Lucas Adams, of Lewisburg.
