SELINSGROVE — Mr. and Mrs. Larry Clotfelter, of Selinsgrove, celebrated their 50th anniversary recently with a party at the Country Cupboard Restaurant, Lewisburg. The event, for 57 guests, was hosted by their daughters and sons-in-law.
They were married Jan. 29, 1963, in Grace EUB Church, Port Trevorton, by the Rev. William Wittmer.
Mrs. Clotfelter, the former Joan K. Schreiber, is the daughter of the late Gomer and Mary Schreiber. She is retired from food service at Selinsgrove Center. She enjoys swimming and playing cards.
Her husband is the son of the late Esther (Clotfelter) Reichenbach. He is retired as a truck driver for Weis Markets. He enjoys hunting and fishing.
The couple is active in Verdilla United Church of Christ activities.
They are the parents of two daughters, Tammy Koontz, of Arlington, Va., and Lisa Ulrich, of Selinsgrove. There is also one granddaughter, Kelsey Ulrich.
