Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Knouse

— RICHFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Knouse, of Richfield, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with a party at the Richfield Mennonite Family Life Center. The event, for over 100 people, was hosted by their children.

They were married Nov. 28, 1963, at the Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Richfield.

Mrs. Knouse, the former Luella Auker, is the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Auker. She retired from Juniata Child Care Services in 2011 after 23 years of driving bus.

Her husband is the son of the late Frank and S. Ruth Knouse. After 40 years of service, Lloyd retired from Wood-Mode, Inc. in 2007.

They are the parents of three children, Linda and husband Gene Snook, Lila and husband Seth Slippey, and Luther and wife Lynne Knouse. There are also eight grandchidlren, Maria Snook, William Snook and his wife Monica, Naomi, Phillip, Rachel and Nathan Slippey, and Livia and Levi Knouse.
