— CRAMERTON, N.C. — Mr. and Mrs. Michael DeGuire Sumner, of Cramerton, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rudolph Stowe Jr., of Gastonia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kerri Neil Sumner to Andrew Charles Storm, son of Dr. and Mrs. Randle Storm, of Lewisburg, Pa.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Forestview High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies. She is employed by The Republik, an advertising agency in Durham.
Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in biology at Duke University in 2006. He is currently studying medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
An Aug. 2 wedding is planned at First A.R.P. Church in Gastonia.
