Ballantine, of Selinsgrove, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Rachel, to Jesse Lee Pyers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack H. Pyers Jr., of Selinsgrove.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School; a 2004 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a bachelor of science degree in audiology/speech-language pathology; and a 2006 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a master of science degree in speech-language pathology. She is employed by ChristianaCare Health System, Newark, Del., as a speech-language pathologist. Her fiancé is a 2000 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and a 2004 graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies. He is employed by Waste Management of Delaware as a route manager. A September wedding is planned.
