Bowen — Powell

— SELINSGROVE — Bill and Marti Bowen, of Selinsgrove, Carol Linne, of Chicago, and John Powell, of Denver, Colo., are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Kristin Elizabeth Bowen and Ryan Andrew Powell.
Miss Bowen is a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School, Bucknell University and Boston University.
Mr. Powell is a graduate of Glenbrook South High School, Chicago, and Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Ore.
The couple offers yoga, tai chi and qigong classes and sound healing and meditation sessions through their business, One Root Healing Arts, in Portland.
They will be married in Hood River, Ore., on Aug. 20.
