LEWISBURG — Together with their families, Allison Libbey and Ben Titus announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy Libbey, of Lewisburg and John Libbey, of Hughesville. She graduated from Lewisburg Area High School in 2003, and received her bachelor of arts degree in Spanish and international studies in 2007 from the University of Richmond. She is a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Virginia and expects to receive her PhD in Spanish language and literature in May.
Her fiancé is the son of Katie and Kenny Mills, of Bumpass, Va., and Adam Titus, of Alexandria, Va. A 2002 graduate of Louisa High School in Virginia, he received his bachelor of music degree in 2006 from Longwood University and his master of music education degree in 2012 from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is director of bands and technical theater and chair of the creative and performing arts department at Fredericksburg Academy and is also a performing musician in the greater Fredericksburg, Va. area.
A June wedding at Rock Hill Plantation House in Stafford, Va. is planned.
