WATSONTOWN — The Historic Warrior Run Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Amanda Homan and Brian Evans in marriage. The Rev. Douglas Diven performed the service at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 13.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Shirley Homan, of Watsontown.
The bridegroom is the son of Barry and Susan Evans, of Kulpmont.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, chose her sister, Sarah Millett, of Potts Grove, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tamara Longenecker, of Turbotville; Bethany Levan, of Muncy; and Alicia Evans, of Mount Wolf, sister-in-law of the bridegroom.
The flower girl was Isabella Ryan, goddaughter of the bridegroom, daughter of Shawn and Kelly Ryan, of Mount Carmel.
Best men were David Evans, of Mount Wolf, and Jeffrey Evans, of Avon, Colo., both brothers of the bridegroom. Ushers were Shawn Ryan, of Mount Carmel, and Michael Millett, of Potts Grove, brother-in-law of the bride. The ring bearer was Gavin Millett, nephew of the bride, son of Michael and Sarah Millett, of Potts Grove.
A reception was held at The Watson Inn, Watsontown. After a wedding trip to Namale Resort and Spa, Fiji, the couple are living in Elysburg.
The bride is a graduate of Warrior Run High School, and a graduate of Mansfield University, with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School, and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
They are both registered nurses at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
