SUNBURY — St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Chelsea Ann Kerstetter and William Peter Clemens II in marriage. Retired rector, the Rev. Canon Jeremy W. Bond, OA, of Grover Beach, Calif., performed the service at 1 p.m. on July 26, 2008.

The bride is the daughter of Guy Rick and Mitzie Kerstetter of Northumberland. The bridegroom is the son of Jan Clemens, of Milton and the late William P. Clemens.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless satin princess line gown with re-embroidered lace, pearls and sequins and a semi-cathedral train. She chose Leeanne Scaife, of Varnville, S.C., to be her matron of honor and her cousin, Justina Hollenbach, of Northumberland, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tracey Clark, of Rock Hill, S.C., soon to be sister-in-law of the bride; Beth Farabaugh, of Loretto, the bridegroom’s sister and Kathryn Mull, of Philadelphia. Flower girl was Shea Hollenbach, of Middleburg.

Jason Fenton, of Lewisburg, was the best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Kerstetter, of Rock Hill, SC, the bride’s brother; David Farabaugh, of Loretto, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Erik Strawser of New Columbia and Chad Walters, of Milton. Brayden Strouse, of Montgomery, served as ring bearer.

Charles Schlegel IV and Brian Lenig served as acolytes. Brooke Danner-Persing, and Mark and Emily Kerstetter, cousins of the bride, served as readers.

Music was provided by Tina Schlegel, of Sunbury, as organist, with solos performed by Bradley Hare, of Sunbury, and Rick Kerstetter, the bride’s father, with trumpet by Nicholas Persing, the bride’s cousin.

A reception was held at The Savoy at the Townside, in Northumberland. Following a honeymoon to Rivera Maya, Mexico, the couple are residing in Fort Mill, S.C.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a 2006 graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in elementary education. She is a third-grade teacher at Sandy Ridge Elementary School, in Waxhaw, N.C. The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Milton High School and attended Bloomsburg University. He is employed by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s office as a detention officer.
