WATSONTOWN — Watsontown Baptist Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Sue Ann Middlesworth and John Robert Fairchild in marriage. Pastor James Ritter conducted the service at 11 a.m. May 9, 2009.
The bride is the daughter of Carson and Doris Middlesworth, of Milton. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Loretta Fairchild, of Lincoln, Neb., and the grandson of William Fairchild, of Watsontown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Carol Koch, of Milton, to be her matron of honor.
Corey Simmons, of Lincoln, Neb., served as best man and as an usher. Jordane Fairchild, the bridegroom’s cousin, passed out programs and served as an usher.
Music was provided by Erin Fairchild, the bridegroom’s cousin.
A reception for 100 guests was held at Wynding Brook Country Club, Milton.
The couple are planning a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica in September. They are residing in Watsontown.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Milton Area High School and a 1996 graduate of Millersville University. She is employed as a commercial lines insurance agent by The Insurance Shop, LLC, Milton.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Lincoln Northeast High School, a 1999 graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University and a 2000 graduate of Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management. He is employed as a senior financial analyst for Geisinger Health System, Danville.
