LEWISBURG — Rooke Chapel on the campus of Bucknell University was the setting for the wedding ceremony uniting Amanda Leigh Knepp and Derek Samuel Oberlin. The Rev. Gary Owens performed the marriage vows at 3 p.m. on June 6.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Shelley Knepp, of Paxtonville. The bridegroom is the son of Roger Oberlin, of Mifflinburg and Margaret Oberlin, of New Berlin.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Georgina Robinson, of Kreamer, to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were April Bidwell, of Dallas, Texas; Allison Knepp, of Middleburg, sister-in-law of the bride; Erin Oberlin, of New Berlin, sister of the bridegroom and Jessica Urick, of Lewisburg. Flower girls were Chloe Sauer, of Middleburg, and Emma and Madison Straub, both of Paxtonville, all cousins of the bride.

Heath Oberlin, of Lewisburg, was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Ty Knepp, of Paxtonville, and Zachary Knepp, of Middleburg, brothers of the bride; Matthew Kreider, of Middleburg and Adam Snook, of Mifflinburg. Ring bearer was Alex Mee, of Greenlawn, N.Y., the bride’s nephew.

Music for the service was provided by Coleen Renshaw, organist and vocal soloist, and Gretchen Renshaw, violinist.

Following a reception for 180 guests at the Lewisburg Hotel, the couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

They are residing in Lewisberry.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Middleburg High School and a 2008 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in medical imaging. She is employed as a radiologic technologist by Tristan Associates, Harrisburg.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in welding and manufacturing engineering. He is employed as a manufacturing engineer by Harley-Davidson, York.
