SCRANTON — St. Paul’s Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Marissa Ann Giomariso and Joseph James Keck in marriage. Monsignor Michael J. Delaney performed the service at 1:30 p.m. April 21, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Joseph and Jamie Giomariso, of Sunbury. The bridegroom is the son of William and Eileen Keck, of Wading River, N.Y.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose her sister, Gina Rumberger, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Elliot, Ann King, Sara Haile, Chelsea Smith, and Lauren Shovlin. Flower girls were Chloe Rumberger, niece of the bride, and Maggie Andersen, niece of the bridegroom.
Serving as best man for his brother was Matthew Keck. Groomsmen were John Keck, brother of the bridegroom, Andrew Vu, Brett Berretta, Tim Delaney, and Evan Rivera. Ring bearer was Corey Rumberger, nephew of the bride.
A reception for 200 guests followed at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, Scranton.
The bride is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School and the University of Scranton with a bachelor of science in nursing. She is registered nurse in the intensive care unit at San Antonio Military Medical Center, San Antonio.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Shorham-Wading River High School, Shorham, N.Y., and the University of Scranton with a bachelor of science in nursing. He was a member of the ROTC in college and was commissioned into the Army upon graduation. He is serving in the Army as a nurse, and is now a first lieutenant. He is also a registered nurse at San Antonio Military Medical Center.
Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple is living in San Antonio, Texas.
