Mr. and Mrs. Chad Geise

LEWISBURG — Rooke Chapel was the setting for the ceremony uniting Tabitha Kiley Beaver and Chad Michael Geise in marriage. Pastor Arlie Davis performed the double ring ceremony at 3 p.m. July 14, 2012.

The bride is the daughter of Janelle and Frank Berdell and Rick and Wendy Beaver, all of New Columbia. The bridegroom is the son of Jody and David Geise, of Milton.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose her sister, Tiffany Collins as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Geise, sister-in-law, of Milton, Teri Cromley, of Watsontown, Kristy Cooper, cousin of the bride, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Christen Yost, of White Deer and Tiffany Raker-Brosious, of Sunbury. Junior bridesmaid was Calista Capri Collins, niece and goddaughter of the bride.

Todd Geise and Matthew Geise, brothers of the bridegroom and both of Milton, served as best men. Ushers were Craig Ulrich, of Lewisburg, Jared Kohl, of Lewisburg and Reid Furman, of Fayetteville, N.C., both cousins of the bridegroom, and Eric Brugger, of Philadelphia.

The couple selected close friends, William Wilhelm, of Washingtonville, and David Lawrence, of Lewisburg, to read biblical verses Colossians 3:12-17 and 1 Corinthians 13: 1-13. Dr. J. Michael Dennis, Marion, Ind., provided the music including three selections from the couple, “How He Loves,” “How Great Is Our God,” and “The Prayer” by Sager & Foster.

A cocktail hour and reception for 225 guests followed at Larison Hall, Bucknell University.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Milton Area High School, 2004 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, where she earned her associates degree in mass media communications, 2007 graduate of Lycoming College, receiving a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications and also a 2009 graduate of Leadership Susquehanna Valley. She is an owner of The Purple Platypus in Lewisburg.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Milton Area High School, 2003 graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance, 2010 graduate of Leadership Susquehanna Valley, and a 2011 graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business receiving his MBA. He is the president of Furmano Foods Inc., Northumberland.

Following a honeymoon in Grenada, the couple resides in Lewisburg with their Doberman Pinscher, “Abbie”.
