NEW YORK CITY — Grace Church, 802 Broadway, was the setting for the May 26, 2013, wedding ceremony uniting Jane Lorraine Fung and John “Jay” Lewis Buchman in marriage.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Michael Fung, of Hong Kong and New York City. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Andrew Buchman, of Bethesda, Md. and Northumberland, Pa. He is grandson of Marion Lewis, of Pelham, and the late Dr. John S. Lewis, and the great-grandson of the late Roy Allen DeLong and Marion Myers DeLong.
The couple met while attending Amherst College.
The bride is also a graduate of St. Paul’s School, Concord, N.H., and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Lander Institute of International Studies, with a master’s degree in international studies. She is employed by Deloitte Consulting.
The bridegroom also graduated from St. Alban’s School, Washington, D.C., New York University Law School, and also studied the tax course at New York University. He is employed by the law firm Ropes & Gray.
The couple is living in New York City.
