— SHAMOKIN — Mother Cabrini Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Amber Shinskie and Garry Madden in marriage. Father Martin Kobos performed the service on Oct. 13, 2012.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Shinskie, of Severn, Md. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Bernice Madden, of Coal Township, Pa.

The bride chose her sister, Stephanie Shinskie, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Kramer, sister of the bridegroom, Tara Moore, and Brooke Wowak and Tara Kehler, cousins of the bride. Flower girl was Emma Kramer, niece of the bridegroom.

Serving as best man was Adam Campbell. Groomsmen were Randy Eby, Joseph Shinskie Jr., brother of the bride, Doug Madden, cousin of the bridegroom, and Paul Conniff. Ring bearer was Landon Kramer, nephew of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at Indian Hills Golf & Tennis Club, Paxinos.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Patch American High School, Stuttgart, Germany, and a 2003 graduate of Penn State University. She is a purchasing agent at the Selinsgrove Center.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Shamokin Area High School and Northumberland County Career & Technology Center. He is an auto technician and owner of Patrick’s Auto Works, Coal Township.

The couple is living in Shamokin.
