BLOOMSBURG — Hidden Acres was the setting for the ceremony uniting Tara Renee Reed and Dustin Phillip Johnson in marriage. Salvatore Vitko performed the service at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 31, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Karen Reed, of Williamsport. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Cynthia Johnson, of Sunbury.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Balzano’s Italian Kitchen, Bloomsburg.
The bride chose Jachelle Yingling, of Williamsport and Jenna Hempton, of Catawissa as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Kehler, of Rockville, Md., Andrea Sweitzer, of Long Branch, N.J., Samamtha Pientack, of Archbald, Pa., and Tiana McCormick, of Williamsport, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Taryn Reed, of Williamsport, sister of the bride. Serving as best man was Cosie Spigelmeyer, of Nashotah, Wiss. Groomsmen were Vincent James, of Levittown, Pa., Chace Phillips, of Milton, Pa., Tyler Johnson, of West Orange, N.J. and Adam Johnson, of Sunbury, brothers of the bridegroom, and Tyrus Reed, of Williamsport, brother of the bride. Ring bearers were Logan Myers and Dylan Johnson, of West Orange, nephews of the bridegroom.
A reception followed.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Williamsport Area High School, and a 2009 and 2012 graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts in communication-interpersonal relationship management, and a master of education in school counseling. She is a multisystemic therapist at Community Solutions, Inc.
The bridegroom is 2004 graduate of Shikellamy High School, and a 2008 and 2010 graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science in elementary education and a master of education in instructional technology. He is a baseball pitching coach at Binghamton University, Binghamton, N.Y.
Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple is living in Binghamton.
