FAIRWAY, Kan. — The Old Mission United Methodist Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Ellen Stolle, M.D. and Adam Satteson, M.D. in marriage. The Rev. Dr. Michael Gardner performed the service at 5 p.m. April 20, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Calvin Stolle, of Prairie Village, Kan. The bridegroom is the son of Anne and Robert Satteson, of Nescopeck, Pa.
Maid of honor was Christine Marschilok, M.D. Bridesmaids were Allison Unruh, M.D., Lauren Fallon, Bethany Stanbrough, and Inga Kirsch.
Best man was Eric Krueger, M.D. Groomsmen were Chad Morley, M.D., Michael Marr, D.D.S., Keith Creasy and Christopher Haupt. Ushers were Jason Satteson, brother of the bridegroom, and John and Michael Stolle, brothers of the bride.
Emily Satteson Snavely, sister of the bridegroom, was the liturgical reader.
A reception followed at the Meadowbrook Country Club, Prairie Village.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor of science degree in bio-chemistry and genetics. She received a Doctor of Medicine in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C., in May 2012.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Central Columbia High School and a 2008 graduate of Susquehanna University with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He received a Doctor of Medicine in otolaryngolory/head and neck surgery (ENT) from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in May 2012.
The couple is pursuing their medical residencies at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem, N.C.
They are living in the Winston Salem area.
