STRASBURG — Strasburg was the location for the ceremony uniting Kayla Ishman and Jeffrey Wilver in marriage. The Rev. Kelly Jo Singleton performed the service on June 29, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Ishman, of Montoursville, and Michael and Leslie Robinson, of Milton. The bridegroom is the son of Don Wilver and Debbie Yarger Wilver, of New Columbia.
The bride’s attendants included Emily Acedo-Malaney, Amy Cotter, Sonya Kozak, Stephanie Liddic, Katie Wilver, and Sydnee Ishman. Flower girl was Alana Conway.
The bridegroom’s attendants included Michael Wilver, Jon Suib, Bob Coleman, Bryan Slowakiewicz, Randy Kramm, Matt Ishman, and Justin Chichi. Ushers were Nate Butler and Dan Morgan. Ring bearer was Ciaran Conway.
Music was provided by Carl Stokking, vocalist and guitarist.
A reception followed at the Fireside Tavern and Ballroom, Strasburg.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Milton Area High School and received a bachelor’s degree in 2007 and a master’s degree in 2009 in communicative disorders from West Chester University, West Chester. She is a speech language pathologist working as a service coordinator for Lancaster Lebanon IU13.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Milton Area High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from York College of Pennsylvania in secondary education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Scranton in 2012. He is a sixth grade world history teacher at Palmyra Middle School, Palmyra.
Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple is living in Harrisburg.
