LEWISBURG — Rooke Chapel was the setting for the ceremony uniting Melissa Sue Showers and Ross Michael Fisher in marriage. Pastor Jim Savage, of Hughesville performed the double-ring ceremony on May 25, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Jim Showers, of New Columbia and Darlene Showers, of Herndon. The bridegroom is the son of Mike and Monica Fisher, of Lewisburg.
Matron of honor was Kitty Martin, of West Milton. Bridesmaids were Danielle Ludwig, of York, Sandra Knopp, of Muncy, and Samantha Ulrich, of Lewisburg. Flower girl was Claire Tanner, niece of the bridegroom.
Serving as best man was Brian Conner, of Lewisburg. Groomsmen were Rob Garske, of Jacksonville, Fla., Dave Ulrich, of Lewisburg, and Bryce Martin, of West Milton. Anthony Showers, nephew of the bride, and Charlie Tanner, nephew of the bridegroom, served as ring bearers.
A reception followed at the Lewisburg Hotel.
The bride is a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and Pennsylvania College of Technology. She is employed by the Lewisburg Penitentiary as a radiologic technologist.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and Pennsylvania State University. He is employed as a landscaper with Cowher’s Exterior Design and is enrolled in the registered nurse program at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, W.I., the couple is living in Lewisburg.
