SELINSGROVE — St. Pius X Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Colleen Victoria Colonna and Edward Francis Wentz III in marriage. The Rev. Daniel Powell performed the double ring ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 13, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of James and Ruth Colonna, of Punxsutawney. The bridegroom is the son of Edward and Doris Wentz, of Centre Hall.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose her sister, Kimberly Colonna, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Darlene Hall, sister of the bridegroom, and Susann Sisitki Colonna, sister-in-law of the bride.
Serving as best man for his brother was David Wentz, Groomsmen were Corry Colonna, brother of the bride, and Edward Wentz Jr., father of the brigegroom.
Readers were Alexandra Wentz, daughter of the bridegroom and Abigail Colonna, niece of the bride. Gift bearers were Zachary Wentz, son of the bridegroom and Anthony Colonna, nephew of the bride. The ceremony was filled with beautiful music provided by trumpeter, Jim Colonna; organist, Michael Groff; pianist, Diane Jay, and vocalists, Susann Sisitki Colonna, Tom Carle, Annie Schulenberg, Kelli Bruno, and Nate Fanzone. Emily Riccardi performed the duty of altar server.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at La Primavera restaurant in Lewisburg.
The bride is a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and received an associate’s degree from Central Penn Business School. She is employed as an official court reporter for the Court of Common Pleas for the 17th Judicial District.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Bellefonte High School, attended the US Naval Academy, graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State College, and retired from the Navy in 2008. He is an entrepreneur in Selinsgrove.
The couple enjoyed a quiet honeymoon at the Kula Bay Resort on Beqa Island in Fiji.
They are living in Selinsgrove.
