COWAN — Trinity Lutheran Church of Cowan was the setting for the ceremony uniting Michelle Nicole Yost and Curtis William Matthew Hawkins in marriage. Jerry Hawkins, grandfather of the bridegroom, performed the Sept. 8, 2012, service.
The bride is the daughter of William and Debbie Boyer, of Mifflinburg, Pa., and Kevin Yost Sr., of Orlando, Fla. The bridegroom is the son of David and Sonia Hawkins, of Mifflinburg.
The bride was given in marriage by her brothers, Kevin Yost Jr. and Michael Yost, both of Orlando. She chose Amanda Thatcher, of Orlando, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alysha Hawkins, of Mifflinburg, sister of the bridegroom, and Chevelle Stahl, of Beaver Springs, niece of the bride. Flower girls were Brooklynn Hawkins, daughter of the couple, Klohie Hawkins, niece of the bridegroom, and Kamryn St. Clair, niece of the bride.
Serving as best man for his brother was John Hawkins, of Sunbury. Groomsmen were Tyler Hawkins, of Mifflinburg, brother of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Kayden Snyder, nephew of the bridegroom.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School and SUN Area Technical Institute with a Certified Nursing Assistant degree. She is employed by Kramm Health & Rehab Center, Milton.
Her husband is a 2008 graduate of the high school and SUN Area Technical Institute with a degree in carpentry certification. He is employed by Pik-Rite, Lewisburg.
The couple is living in Mifflinburg.
