SUNBURY — Saint Monica Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Shana Marie Taylor and Tyler Joseph Gross in marriage. Father Fred Wangwe performed the service at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 5, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Cynthia Taylor, of Northumberland. The bridegroom is the son of Lehna and Joseph Gross, of Sunbury.
Matron of honor was Cheyenne Zellers. Bridesmaids were Ashley Taylor, sister of the bride, Colleen Egan and Nichole Shoch. Allison Barvitskie, niece of the groom, was the junior bridesmaid. Ella Marie Bard, daughter of the bride, was the flower girl.
Best man was Joseph Gross, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Chad Brady, Bryant Klop, and Joshua Moyer. Mason Barvitskie, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.
Michael Barvitskie and Allison Barvitskie, brother-in-law and sister of the bridegroom, were the liturgical readers.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a 2011 graduate of DeVry University with a degree in web graphic design. She is employed as an I.T. technical analyst for the Geisinger Health System, Danville.
The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a 2010 graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor of science degree in information technology. He is employed as an EHR systems analyst for the Geisinger Health System, Danville.
Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is living in the Sunbury area.
