SUNBURY — The Sunbury Social Club was the setting for the ceremony uniting Kimberly Groves and Michael Ferlazzo in marriage. The B.A.P.M. Jason Carter, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, conducted the outdoor service on April 6, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Mel Groves, of Northumberland. The bridegroom is the son of Dorothy Ferlazzo, of Milton, and the late George Ferlazzo.
Maid of honor was Molly Stahl, of Selinsgrove. Bridesmaids were Mary Ann Geyer, of Milton, and Ginny Sharpless, of Selinsgrove, sisters of the bridegroom, and Judy Gulden, of Point Township. Junior bridesmaid was Kaitlyn Carey, of Northumberland, daughter of the bride. Flower girl was Becca Sharpless, of Selinsgrove, niece of the bridegroom.
Serving as best man was Wes Miller, of Montoursville. Groomsmen were Bill Groves, of Sunbury, brother of the bride, Kuuipo Tom, of Montoursville, and Doug Byerly, of Lock Haven. Junior groomsman was Ben Sharpless, of Selinsgrove, nephew of the bridegroom. The bride’s special attendant was her son, Kristopher Carey, of Northumberland.
Guest book attendant was Marcy Geyer, of Northumberland, niece of the bridegroom. Photographer was Stephanie Cunningham, of Ripley, N.Y., cousin of the bride, and videographer was Denny Sharpless, of Selinsgrove, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at the Sunbury Social Club.
The bride is a graduate of Shikellamy High School. She is employed by Susquehanna Valley Limousine, Northumberland.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Montoursville Area High School, and Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is employed by Geisinger Health System, Danville.
Following a trip to New York City, the couple is living in Northumberland.
