SHAMOKIN — Transfiguration Ukrainian Catholic Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Nicole Kramer and Christopher Matrey in marriage. Father Mark Fesmak and Father Ruslan Romanyuk performed the service at 2 p.m. Oct. 20, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Anne Marie and Drew Kramer, of Shamokin. The bridegroom is the son of Guy and Cristie Matrey, of Trevorton.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She chose Julie Ridings, of Natalie, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Vanessa Lippay, Victoria Kramer, sister of the bride, Sarah Wasilewski, Alexis Santarelli, and Lindsay Fanella, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Taylor and Brynn Strahan, cousins of the bridegroom.
Serving as best man was Dustin Billig, of Shamokin. Ushers were Wesley Matrey, brother of the bride, Timothy Clark and Thomas Miller, cousins of the bridegroom, Justin Ridings, and Adam Derck, cousin of the bride. Ring bearers were Quinn and Kaden Dunkelberger, cousins of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Brady Banquet Hall, Coal Township.
The bride is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School and Bloomsburg University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. She is a paralegal at Northumberland County Children and Youth Services, Sunbury.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Line Mountain High School and Harrisburg Area Community College with an associate’s degree in architectural technology. He is a draftsperson at Willigerod & MacAvoy Architects, Harrisburg.
The couple is living in Trevorton.
