SUNBURY — The Priestly Savidge House — Parkview was the setting for the ceremony uniting Stephanie L. Yordy and Jason M. Ploppert in marriage. The Rev. Richard J. Shearer performed the service on Sept. 8, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Christine and David Yordy, of Elysburg. The bridegroom is the son of Michael Ploppert, of Sunbury, and Ann Betts, of Danville.
The bride chose Nicole Katchik as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Marie Grayeske, cousin of the bride, Jen Pequignot, Kim Dudra, and Jen Rosso. Flower girl was Serenity Laird.
Serving as best man was Tom VonBlohn. Groomsmen were Terry Kratzer, Matt Stahl, Michael Brown, and Kerry McCormick. Ring bearer was Hunter VonBlohn.
A cocktail hour and reception followed.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Southern Columbia High School. She is also a graduate of Luzerne County Community College with a degree in criminal justice.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Danville Area High School. He also attended Bloomsburg University and Pennsylvania College of Technology.
A honeymoon is planned for a later date.
The couple is living in Sunbury.
