SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Most Holy Rosary was the setting for the ceremony uniting Aubrey Lynne Stover and Matthew David Sejuit in marriage. Father Fred Mannara performed the service on Nov. 23, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Denise Stover, of Shamokin, and Joel Stover, of Mifflinburg. The bridegroom is the son of Walter and Mary Sejuit, of Coal Township.
Maid of honor was Paula Cousino. Bridesmaids were Jenna Sejuit, cousin of the bridegroom, Erin Marshall, and Hillary Coleman.
Serving as best man was Jared Stover, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Stephen Bishop, and Daniel Sejuit Jr. and Dave Sejuit, cousins of the bridegroom.
A reception was held in Syracuse and at Liverpool 501 Mason Lodge. Receptions servers were Barbagallo’s Catering. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Shamokin Area Jr./Sr. High School, a 2004 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with an associates in arts degree in letters, arts, and sciences, a 2007 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bechelor of arts degree in sociology and a bachelor of arts degree in history, minor in information-systems statistical analysis, a 2009 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a master of education in teaching and curriculum with CAS in diversity and community relations, and a 2012 graduate of Syracuse University with a master of social work in individuals, families, and groups with CAS in women’s and gender studies. She is attending the University of South Carolina working towards her Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision. She was formerly a chemical dependency therapist for both Central New York Services, Inc. and Crouse Hospital, both in Syracuse, N.Y.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Shamokin Area Jr./Sr. High School, a 2008 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a associates of arts degree in letters, arts, and sciences, a 2011 graduate of Syracuse University with a bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in psychology, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Southern California with a master of social work in families and children with concentration in military families. He is a licensed master social worker/therapist for the Department of Mental Health in South Carolina, Columbia, S.C., and formerly served six years active duty in the Navy as a Corpsman with two deployments to Iraq.
Following a honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple is living in Columbia, S.C.
