BLOOMSBURG -- The offense was surging for Warrior Run as it batted around twice in the first two innings on its way to a 15-3 win over Millville on Thursday in District 13 Area I Major Division Little League action.

Jared Bender led the offense with two doubles to go along with his solo home run in the first.

Warrior Run scored at least two runs in four of its five at-bats, including five runs in both the second and fifth innings. They banged out 14 total hits.

Along with his dominating performance from the mound, Connor Pelletier added two singles and a two-run shot in the third. Pelletier fanned seven batters in the game including the last five of the contest.

Warrior Run (1-1) will take on host Bloomsburg, 8-3 winners over Berwick, in an elimination game on Saturday. That game is set for noon, following the winners' bracket final between Danville and South Columbia, which will start at 10 a.m.

AREA II

Mifflinburg 4, Lewisburg 1

LAURELTON -- A sound pitching performance and just enough offense helped lift Mifflinburg over Lewisburg at the Field of Dreams.

Andrew Aurand went the distance to get the complete-game win. He carried a shutout into the sixth before allowing a run. He allowed just five singles in six innings of work.

Mifflinburg led 1-0 after three innings, but plated three runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a four-run lead.

Mifflinburg (2-1) will now meet Milton, 5-3 winners over Selinsgrove on Thursday night, in an elimination game on Saturday at noon. The winner of the game will take on either Shikellamy-Acorn or Snyder County -- who will play at 10 a.m. Saturday -- in the elimination bracket final on Monday.

Milton 5, Selinsgrove 3

LAURELTON -- Milton was able to prevent Selinsgrove from taking the lead in the sixth with Selinsgrove rallying with a pair, but couldn't get any closer.

Logan Feltman pitched five strong innings for Milton before Gage Heller nailed things down in the sixth.

Zach Bennett and Tyler Porter paced Milton's offense. Porter had two hits, drove in two runs and scored twice for Milton, while Bennett was 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.
