BLOOMSBURG -- Brothers Jared and Teddy Bender and Sean Morehart all hit home runs as Warrior Run rolled over Bloomsburg 14-4 in five innings in the District 13 Area I Major Division all-star tournament at Bloomsburg on Saturday.

Warrior Run committed three of its five fielding errors in the second to give Bloomsburg a 4-2 lead.

Following the disastrous second, Warrior Run was able to regroup and post five runs in the third, thanks to Sean Morehart's two-run blast.

Jared Bender then took the mound and fanned eight of the last nine batters to give Warrior Run the win. Along with shutting Bloomsburg down offensively, Bender and brother Teddy connected for home runs in the fourth inning to add five more runs to Warrior Run's lead.

Warrior Run will take on Danville on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the consolation bracket final.

Area II

Mifflinburg 13, Milton 0 (3 innings)

LAURELTON -- It took Andrew Leitzel only 46 pitches on the day to get a Major Division all-star win and a no-hitter as Mifflinburg got the win.

Along with shutting Milton down, Leitzel went 2-for-3 from the plate and scored three times.

In the second, Jeremy Uscowskas connected with a home run with three on. Cole Walters and James Zach also added a double apiece in the rout.

Mifflinburg advances to play Snyder County on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the consolation bracket final.
