DANVILLE -- South Columbia scored 15 runs in the second and third innings to rout Warrior Run 16-1 in a District 13 Little League Area I Junior Division elimination bracket game Thursday at the Washies Little League Complex.

Jarrick Newhart and Michael Shelhamer keyed the offensive outburst for South Columbia. Jarrick hit a three-run double in the second inning and Shelhamer hit a two-run single in the third.

Newhart finished 2-for-2, while Connor Poirier went 3-for-4 with a double to lead South Columbia.

South Columbia next faces the Berwick B-Danville winner on Sunday at 8 p.m.
