DANVILLE -- All six Danville golfers finished in the top half of the field at the Heartland Athletic Conference Interdivision Medal Play Tournament on Monday at Liberty-Valley Golf Club.

No team score was kept at the six-team event that included teams from the top two divisions of the HAC.

Montoursville's Andrew Krout led three players with scores of better than 80. Krout fired a two-over par round of 74, three strokes ahead of Milton's Alex Milheim (74) and five better than Danville's Nathan Coleman, whose 79 led the way for Danville.

Coleman earned third medalist honors for the Ironmen.

Following up Coleman's score the Ironmen grouped the other five scores together to turn in a solid performance.

Nick Butto had the ninth-best score of the day, shooting an 87 while teammates Kyle Gruss and Christian Bohan tied for 10th with twin 88s. Brendan Gruss was two shots back at 91 while Nick Loeb rounded out Danville's performance with a 94.

Coleman and Butto are two of 32 golfers who return to White Deer today for the final round of the District 4 championships. The top five finishers from today's round advance to next week's Eastern Regional in Fleetwood.
