FIELD HOCKEY

MIDDLEBURG -- Midd-West's Taylor Sprenkle scored the game-winner off an Emilee Wagner assist for a 1-0 win over Indian Valley in nonconference action Monday. The goal came 6:03 into overtime and kept Midd-West's playoff hopes alive.

The win moved the Mustangs' record back to .500 with just two games left. Midd-West (7-7-2) will face Danville and Milton in its final two contests of the year.

Mount Carmel 1, South Williamsport 0 (OT)

MOUNT CARMEL -- Red Tornadoes keeper Rachel Amarose stopped 19 shots en route to a 1-0 overtime win in Heartland Athletic Conference Division II action. Ranatta Ahrenfield scored the game-winning goal two minutes into the first overtime to give Mount Carmel the victory.

Mount Carmel is 11-5 and 8-5 HAC-II.

Upper Dauphin 1, Line Mountain 0

MANDATA -- Chelsea Heeney had 17 saves as Upper Dauphin beat Line Mountain 1-0 in the Schuylkill League showdown.

Upper Dauphin was held to only five shots on goal, but only needed the one as Heeney made it impossible for Line Mountain to get on the board.

BOYS SOCCER

Lewisburg 3, Williamsport 1

LEWISBURG -- All three of Lewisburg's goals were unassisted as it beat Williamsport in the HAC-I match.

The Green Dragons had 17 more shots on goal than the Millionaires.

Lewisburg is now 11-4-2 and 10-4-2 HAC-I.
