COCOLAMUS -- Emily Klingler scored two of Selinsgrove's four goals in a 10-minute span that bridged the halves, and the defending champion Seals moved into the district field hockey quarterfinals with a 5-1 win Thursday over East Juniata.
Klinger, a sophomore who assisted MacKenna Mahan on the game's first goal, got her first with four seconds left in the opening half. She then scored a little more than a minute after Geneka Mahan early in the second half for a 4-0 Selinsgrove lead.
Jenna Kapsar made it 5-1 about a minute after East Juniata's Stephanie Dressler scored off a penalty stroke.
The fifth-seeded Seals (13-4-2) limited No. 4 East Juniata (13-5) to one shot and two corners overall.
Selinsgrove plays top-seeded Bloomsburg (18-1) in a rematch of last year's District 4 Class AA final 5 p.m. Saturday at Bloomsburg University.

MIFFLINBURG -- Nicole Brouse and Amy Orren scored first-half goals, and Mifflinburg got 12 saves from Dani Ard to advance in the District 4 Class AA playoffs.
Third-seeded Mifflinburg and No. 6 Central Columbia combined for 20 first-half shots, but only the Wildcats dented the cage with seniors Brouse and Orren. Freshman Kayla Kline assisted Orren.
Mifflinburg out-shot the Blue Jays 23-17 overall.
The Heartland-I champion Wildcats won their sixth consecutive game and moved to Saturday's semifinal round against Line Mountain at 7. Both teams are 15-4.

BLOOMSBURG -- Kayla Rostucher had a hat trick for Bloomsburg, scoring twice in the second half to erase any Shikellamy comeback hopes.
Britni Phillips assisted on two of the goals, in the last 5-plus minutes of each half.
Shikellamy coach Holly Zimmerman credited Alexa Toevs and Jade Coxe with strong defensive games, and also lauded Kennedy Smith's play throughout the midfield.
The Braves, district qualifiers for the first time since 2009, finished at 10-9-1.
